Bill C-2 is proposing a wide set of changes to increase border security. It includes changes that will make it much more difficult for asylum seekers to receive refugee protection in Canada.

Because of the harm posed to asylum seekers, a number of organizations such as Amnesty International are criticizing and opposing the bill. Sharing this view, Tenth Church is sending a letter to Members of Parliament asking for the withdrawal of Bill C-2. Tenth's vision is to seek justice for all, and welcoming refugees is a part of that vision:

He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. Deuteronomy 10:18
