Ride for Refuge

Over the past few weeks, 28 people (including a handful of children!) from Tenth Church have shared an important message with their communities. Each person was raising funds to support Inner Hope Youth Ministries, a non-profit organization in East Vancouver seeking to be a place of hope, belonging, and growth for youth and families in East Vancouver impacted by intergenerational trauma. On Saturday, October 5, walkers, runners, and riders joined together to celebrate raising almost $10,000!

A high point of the gathering was over a shared meal of chili and bannock where Richie, a former youth and now current staff at Inner Hope, shared about how his and his brother's lives were transformed through the relationships he experienced at Inner Hope. Inner Hope provides a place of belonging, love, and growth for inner-city youth and their families that is deeply rooted in relationships.
